We sent a letter to Governor Hochul on January 13, 2022, just a week after she made a first-in-the-nation proposal for a statewide rapid transition to a 100% zero emissions school bus fleet. Our letter highlights key budget asks, as well as labor and equity considerations that will allow her proposal to turn into a reality.

We hosted a roundtable with World Resources Institute and NYCSBUS, NYC’s largest school bus contractor, to talk about how we are going to transition NYC’s school bus fleet to 100% electric, while prioritizing environmental justice communities.
